First Dates’ Fred Sirieix details falling for fiancée ‘Fruitcake’ and unusual way they met

Love expert Fred Sirieix is best known for giving dating advice and setting couples up on E4's First Dates, but now, the French romantic has opened up on his own love story with his fiancee he nicknames "Fruitcake".

In an exclusive chat with OK!, Fred, 50, revealed he met the love of his life when he was strolling down the street. "I was walking down the street, and we just started talking and went for a drink together – and that was that," he shared. "We were just in the right place." The star – who has teamed up to work with King C Gilette this Valentine's Day – even revealed how their first date ended as he added: "There was a kiss at the end, too." As he recalled his own love story, it reminded him of some recent scenes he filmed for the hit show which sees singletons meet their dates for the first time.
