Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Fire crews and paramedics scrambled after a purple sports car crashed into a building at a busy Salford junction. This was the scene after the BMW Z4 hit the side of the Salford Royal apartments, where the old hospital stood on the corner of Adelphi Street and Chapel Street.
Firefighters raced out to the scene at around 11.30am this morning (May 18) after receiving a call about the collision, which involved no other vehicles.
Paramedics also attended and checked over one person who was involved in the crash. Images from the scene show railings opposite the building had also been knocked onto the ground.
Emergency services left the area after around 45 minutes, having made the scene safe.
