Turtle Bay, the Caribbean restaurant chain, is opening a huge new restaurant at Salford Quays. The new spot will be at the waterside terrace area, overlooking the Lowry Theatre.

It will be able to seat 180 people, and will create 60 brand new jobs for the city. It’s the third branch of the chain to open in Manchester, following the first location on Oldham Street in the Northern Quarter.

There’s also a branch on Oxford Street too, both of which serve a Caribbean-inspired menu and cocktails. That includes jerk pit barbecue chicken and ribs, West Indian curries like curry goat and brown stew chicken. READ MORE: There are also small plate starters like classic salt fish fritters, mac and cheese bites and chilli cheese rotis, alongside roti rolls, and ‘soul food’ like Kingston fried chicken, fish fry, and curry goat hash.

The new branch at Salford Quays will also offer the breakfast menu, including the Big Kingston Grill Down, with jerk bacon and sausage, along with fried chicken and roti stacks, and bacon and sausage roti wraps.
