Fiorentina CEO Giuseppe Barone has dismissed claims Manchester United have put a bid in for his defensive midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
The Moroccan international is being monitored amid a potential move to Old Trafford and MEN Sport understands Erik ten Hag is open to signing another midfielder after bringing Mason Mount to the club.
Currently, there are no real alternatives to Casemiro in the defensive midfield position. Fred covered for his compatriot when the Brazilian was missing through suspension.
