Festive revellers in Tier 2 hit the pubs and bars for a Christmas Eve night out yesterday as millions of others hunkered down due to the latest coronavirus restrictions.
The delighted drinkers didn't let the freezing temperatures bother them as they joined family and friends for a Christmas night out.
Pubs, restaurants and other hospitality venues are allowed to open in Tier 2 areas but punters must order a substantial meal with their drinks and cannot mix with another household indoors.
