Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Earlier today we reported how the issue had been raised by @RoadsideMum on Twitter, who shared a photo of her parcel, provided in lieu of a fortnight's worth of supermarket vouchers, which she estimated to be worth around £5.
She wrote: "Issued instead of £30 vouchers. I could do more with £30 to be honest," adding: "Public funds were charged £30. I'd have bought this for £5.22."Marcus Rashford has joined a string of public figures who have slammed the contents of the parcels, saying they're 'just not good enough'.Schools are being encouraged to use their own catering teams or food providers to provide the parcels - with some delivering them to homes and others asking families to collect.
