Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Jamie Carragher claimed Liverpool's front three let their side down against Manchester United on Sunday. The top of the table clash was billed as an exciting fixture beforehand but for fans and neutrals alike it failed to live up to the hype.
Jurgen Klopp was forced to field a makeshift defence, including Jordan Henderson and Fabinho, due to the injuries of Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez.
But the pair did well with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford kept at bay. And despite the injury crisis at the back it seems there's a different sort of worry taking place at the other end of the pitch.
Liverpool have now only scored one goal in their past four Premier League matches - that coming in the 1-1 draw with West Brom.
