‘Fallout’ Video Game Adaptation Gets 2024 Release Date on Prime Video
variety.comJaden Thompson Prime Video has announced the release date for its upcoming post-apocalyptic drama series “Fallout,” adapted from the popular video game franchise of the same name. “Fallout” will premiere on April 12, 2024.
The news was announced on Monday, a.k.a. “Fallout Day” in the video game community, with a teaser styled like one of the Pip-Boys in the game.
Starring Walton Goggins, the series takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland in the year 2077. Citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants and bandits after nuclear annihilation.
The story begins in Vault 33, one such bunker that is a prominent setting in the video games. The “Fallout” show will also take place in the official canon of the games.
