The follow up to 2022’s “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II” comes out this Friday, Nov. 10, marking the 22nd entry in the mainline series of games that first launched 20 years ago in 2003.
Available for pre-order for $69.99 at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart and Target, “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III” for PS5, Xbox Series X, PS4 and Xbox One is a first-person shooter that’s the third installment in the reboot “Modern Warfare” series.
Not to be mistaken for “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” from 2011. “Modern Warfare III” finds Task Force 141, a multi-national special operations unit, on the hunt for Russian ultranationalist and terrorist named Vladimir Makarov, who is planning to start World War III.
