Explore Manchester Central and its new bar on their exclusive open day

On Tuesday July 23, from 9am - 5pm, visitors can delve into the venue's fascinating spaces, learn about its history, and even check out Junction, the brand new bar and restaurant.
Manchester Central was one of the city centre’s main railway stations between its opening in 1880 and its closure in 1969. The building became Grade II listed in 1963, but was left in a derelict condition for more than a decade after it closed. Greater Manchester Exhibition and Conference Centre, better known as G-Mex, opened in 1986. Manchester International Convention Centre was added in 2001 before the two venues were combined and renamed as Manchester Central in January 2007.
