Ex-pupil, 17, criticises school for not tackling 'years of bullying'

A 17-year-old former student has recalled how 'years of bullying' at school has left her mentally scarred. Keira Taylor and mum Kelly have accused Ormiston Meridian Academy in Meir, Staffordshire, of being too relaxed when it comes to dealing with incidents of bullying.

The former pupil says the abuse she received began in year eight when a group of lads made fun of the way she looked and dressed.

It is also alleged that the boys also called her 38-year-old mum a 'fat disabled b****'. Despite the mother and daughter arguing that they raised the issues with the school, Keira claims that teachers brushed it off as "boys being boys".
