Hundreds of would-be councillors will be battling it out for your votes ahead of elections in Greater Manchester’s ten boroughs next month.
Voters across the region will be heading to the polls on Thursday, May 4 to back their preferred candidates in the local elections.
For several boroughs it could see radical change in terms of which party controls the town hall, with all-out elections – where every seat is up for grabs – taking place in Oldham, Wigan, Tameside, Stockport, Trafford and Bolton.
Councils that could be flipped include Bolton, which is narrowly controlled by the Conservatives, with the make-up standing at 26 Tory councillors to Labour’s 19 following last year’s election.
