Greater Manchester weather forecast for week ahead as sun could be on its way

Weather in Greater Manchester could be changing for the better after a few days of stormy weather and heavy winds across the region.

A senior meteorologist at British Weather Services has already said they believe temperatures could be on the rise this week, with some places receiving highs of around 25C.

While things aren’t expected to get too hot here in Greater Manchester in the next week, we’re certainly looking at some more favourable weather heading our way than what we’ve dealt with recently. He said: "From Saturday we are set to see temperatures climb and we could see 18 Celsius in Manchester by Sunday. "The fine and relatively warm weather is set to continue throughout most of next week with temperatures of 18 to 20 Celsius during the days but still rather chilly overnight (lows of 4 to 7 Celsius).
