Evander Holyfield has opened the door to a third fight with Mike Tyson - 23 years after the latter’s infamous disqualification for biting a chunk out of his ear.
Tyson was beaten twice by Holyfield in the late 90s, first losing his WBA heavyweight title when he was stopped on his feet by the Alabama fighter in November 1996.
It was the rematch that proved most iconic, however, with ‘Iron’ Mike digging his teeth into Holyfield’s ear and ripping a chunk out of it, meaning he was handed another defeat via disqualification.
Tyson, 53, recently confirmed he is looking to launch an astonishing comeback for charity bouts 15 years since he retired from boxing.
