Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.

A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.

Erik ten Hag warned about worrying trend as Manchester United future verdict delivered

Former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam has offered his verdict on Erik ten Hag's side and expressed his desire to see him turn fortunes around at Old Trafford.

United closed the gap on their top four rivals with a 2-0 win over Everton on Saturday afternoon, thanks to a penalty apiece from Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford.

And Stam, speaking before the win over the Toffees, highlighted how United fail to dominate games but hopes his Dutch compatriot can turn things around. "What Erik can do and what we saw at Ajax, how we like him to play with his team - on the front foot, a lot of possession, dominating the game and creating opportunities. "We haven't seen it a lot, not even last season, sometimes this season you see little bits of it but after a few minutes it's gone then the opponent is pushing on and they're more dangerous. "They hardly dominate games that's what we want to see more of but with the injuries it doesn't help the manager playing a certain style of play, it does a lot with the confidence when you're changing personnel.
