Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United booked a place in the FA Cup semi-finals after a dramatic 4-3 win over Liverpool in extra-time. Harry Maguire was named on the bench after returning from injury while Rasmus Hojlund was included in the starting XI.
The pair trained during the build-up to the match after sitting out the last few matches due to injury. Although Erik ten Hag had stated that the game against Liverpool would come too soon for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Mason Mount, the pair featured at Old Trafford.
Wan-Bissaka started in defence and Mount replaced Victor Lindelof during extra-time. Red Devils boss Ten Hag will hope to welcome back more players during the international break.
