Erik ten Hag has suggested Rasmus Hojlund's goalscoring record hinges on an improvement in Manchester United's performances.
Hojlund has scored three goals in 13 games and is without a goal in eight in the Premier League since his £72million transfer from Atalanta.
The 20-year-old has tallied three goals in three Champions League games but he has not registered for United since the 3-2 defeat to Galatasaray on October 3.
United have been criticised for settling on an unproven goalscorer in Hojlund rather than targeting a dependable goalscorer such as Harry Kane, who was Ten Hag's preferred pick.
