Maguire went down first only for Bailly to join him a few moments later. Both players sported bloodied wounds but it was Maguire who sat up and seemed to be in a better state.
The £80million defender was patched up with bandages around the head and was given the green light to continue. A stretcher was prepared for Bailly but the Ivory Coast defender got to his feet and walked off the pitch.
But worrying scenes continued only moments later as he stumbled off the pitch and went to ground again just off the touchline.
