Enzo Maresca will take lessons from his time under Pep Guardiola but the new Leicester City boss has urged patience in emulating the Manchester City style.
Leicester appointed Maresca as their new manager last month, following relegation from the Premier League. The Foxes have made a bold decision in backing the former City assistant to lead their Championship promotion push at the first time of asking.
Maresca enjoyed one brilliant campaign in charge of City's Elite Development Squad a few years back, winning the Premier League 2 title during the 2020/2021 campaign.
He returned to Manchester last summer, following a poor spell in charge of Italian side Parma, joining Guardiola's coaching staff.
