Officers slapped a dispersal order on an entire town centre after a group of youths began 'harassing' security guards and throwing cones.
The order gave Greater Manchester Police extra powers to direct people to leave Bolton town centre, from 7pm to 11pm on Monday night (December 2).
Police warned residents there had been an 'increase in anti-social behaviour incidents' during the evening, before the 'Section 34' order was issued.
The Manchester Evening News has learned these incidents involved a group of up to 15 youths, who were involved in anti-social behaviour incidents in Bolton town centre on Monday.
