A free festival for the people of Stretford is returning to the town next year. The neighbourhood festival will feature a day of music, art, dance, and interactive workshops, across Stretford’s favourite venues and public spaces.
Organised by Stretford Town Centre Forum, ‘The StretFest’ is returning to Stretford on Saturday, March 1 2025, following its first successful outing in July earlier this year.
This spring edition will celebrate ‘new beginnings’ - with the development work across Stretford town centre now well underway with King Street due to open later in the year. READ MORE: Heartbreak as body found in major underwater search for missing diver Last summer's event saw thousands of people enjoy a series of free events and activities throughout the day, and the next instalment of the festival looks to build on its success to increase footfall and spotlight the neighbourhood as new areas take shape.
All the venues from last year will be participating with a series of free events once again taking place across Stretford Public Hall, the Stretford Mall, Victoria Park, St Matthew’s Church and Stretford Library - alongside the array of local businesses that call Stretford home including Head Bar, Stretford Canteen, Bakehouse32, The Longford Tap, Uplift, Souljuice and Reel round the Fountain Records.
