Football fans are kicking off over the price of England’s new replica kits for next summer’s European Championships. Supporters wanting to buy a “match” home or away shirt as worn by the players will have to fork out £99.95, plus an extra £59.95 for the shorts.
With a player’s name and number printed on the back, it comes to a total of £114.95. The budget “stadium” version - made of cheaper fabric - costs £69.95 and a whopping £54.95 for kids.
One fan tweeted: “I like them – but you price me out of getting them for my two children. I simply can’t justify that sort of money on two football tops.
