All eyes were on Kate Middleton as she hosted a series of youth workshops in Birmingham on World Mental Health Day. Prince William joined his wife in the West Midlands on Tuesday, 10 October for a series of sessions that discussed the mental health issues faced by young people today. The event was in partnership with UK-based digital charity the Mix and BBC Radio 1.The mum-of-three, who is reportedly seen as an "asset" to the family by her fellow royals, was spotted smiling and chatting to the public as she stood out from the crowd in a bright yellow LK Bennett suit jacket.
She teamed the statement piece with a black blouse and matching trousers. The princess also wore a pair of star-shaped earrings that had been gifted to her by Maidenhead Rugby Club Under-14s coach Sarah Renton. They were made in memory of Sarah's daughter, Issy, who tragically took her own life at 17 earlier this year.
Kate promised to wear the earrings after she was given them during a trip to Sarah's rugby club in June. Prince William looked equally as smart next to his wife, as he worked the room in a navy suit paired with a shirt and tie.
The event, held at Birmingham's Factory Works, brought together 100 young delegates to discuss how they manage their emotions and how they can be supported to build their resilience and maintain healthy relationships.
