This is also the case for their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, as the royal trio have already had an enviable start to their studies.
After nursery school, Prince William enrolled in Wetherby Prep School and then went on to attend Ludgrove School in Berkshire, before attending Eton College from 1995-2000.
Similarly, Kate was educated locally at St Andrew's School before attending two exclusive private schools. While it has not yet been confirmed, it is expected that Prince George and Prince Louis will follow in their father's footsteps and join Eton when they turn 13 - but what will happen to Princess Charlotte?
