Emmerdale’s Daisy Campbell is leaving the Dales after 13 years - as show bosses have called time on her character, in a shock move that left her "grieving".The actress was just seven years old when she first graced our screens as Amelia Spencer, but earlier this year, producers delivered the news of her exit in a private meeting.
Her last scenes will air just before Christmas. Speaking about the decision for her character to be axed, Daisy revealed: "It wasn't my choice to leave Emmerdale and it was a shock at first.
Being in Emmerdale is all I have ever known. I've spent the whole of my childhood growing up in the soap and it felt daunting." Since joining the cast of Emmerdale as Amelia Spencer back in 2011, Daisy has become a firm favourite amongst soap lovers.
Her character Amelia is currently entangled in a relationship with baddie Tom King, completely unaware of his evil abuse of ex-wife Belle Dingle, and is also looking after two year old Esther following her unexpected pregnancy with Samson Dingle last year.
