Emmerdale's Daisy Campbell might be heading to a competing soap after her unexpected departure from the show. Rising to prominence as Amelia Spencer on ITV soap, she first graced our screens in 2011.

Over time, Daisy has been at the centre of numerous high-profile storylines. Currently, her character is entangled with villainous abuser Tom King (portrayed by James Chase).

Audiences haven't forgotten how Tom previously mistreated his spouse Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) earlier this year, an ordeal that resulted in Belle's exit from the series.

However, in a shock twist this October, the producers decided to phase out Amelia. Reflecting on this move, Daisy, aged 21, confided to the Mirror: "It wasn't my choice to leave Emmerdale and it was a shock at first." The young actress then expressed: "Being in Emmerdale is all I have ever known.
