The character is set for "dramatic" new scenes in a storyline featuring "twists and turns" for him and a new arrival, who isn't exactly a stranger.
Aaron appeared to get closure during a recent episode of the ITV soap, after his ex finally reached out to him from prison. Robert left the show last year after being sentenced to 14 years in prison, having accidentally murdered Lee Posner.
Lee had raped his sister Victoria Sugden, with her falling pregnant with her attacker's baby, and shocking scenes saw Robert lash out and accidentally kill him.
