Emmerdale cancelled tonight in huge blow to fans
ok.co.ukEmmerdale has been cancelled on Thursday night due to a huge schedule shake up.The ITV soap usually broadcasts an hour special every Thursday, however today, it unfortunately won’t be airing at all.
ITV is instead opting to broadcast live sports coverage, leaving many disappointed soap fans.The broadcaster will be showing live coverage of the UEFA Nations League Live match between England and Greece from the Olympic Stadium in Athens from 7pm.The ITV news bulletin will also be affected in the schedule shakeup, being whittled down to just 30 minutes.
Mark Pougatch will be leading the coverage, as he’s joined by former Manchester United star Roy Keane and Ian Wright for analysis, with commentary from Sam Matterface and Lee Dixon.
It’ll be a blow to fans who were waiting for the latest updates on the drama in the village.This week, returning character Tina Dingle made shock revelations about being Vinny’s mother.
