Danny Jones may have instantly been predicted as the winner of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! when the series kicked off, but it seems the McFly singer has some competition creeping in now.

Following the late arrival of Reverend Richard Coles to the series, many viewers have been surprised by the presenter and musician.

Now a fan favourite, Richard's sensitive side and cheeky personality appears to have won over fans, as many took to X to share their love for the star after Tuesday's (26 November) episode, which saw him open up about losing his husband. "Was a bit meh when I saw the reverend was going into the jungle as I didn't know him at all but I was sooooo wrong.

He's pure precious. Oti too," wrote one fan. Another echoed: "I’m so glad people are getting so see how lovely reverend Richard is, he doesn’t get anywhere near enough recognition."
