Emmerdale boss, Jane Hudson, has teased the upcoming super soap stunt week, insisting that it will be "brilliant". Fans will recall that the award-winning ITV soap typically airs explosive storylines and stunts in the month of October - with past storylines including the deadly 50th anniversary storm.
Speaking to press, including OK!, Jane has teased what fans can expect for the upcoming 2023 super soap stunt week. Jane said: "I was working on it late last night with my producer when we should have been going to bed – not together, in our separate houses – and we started getting a bit giddy with ideas and started messaging each other! "Then I woke up at 3am having had a dream that somebody was trying to break my neck and I actually jumped up in bed. "I keep a pad next to my bed and a pen, and I was like: 'I’ve got to write down some ideas.' Nobody’s getting their neck broken but I was just in that world of going 'stories, something’s happening', so at 3am this morning I was scribbling in my notebook!" Teasing further details, Jane said: "I mean, it is tradition [for a stunt] during Super Soap Week but we are still at the very early stages.
We’re in my ‘dream head’ state at the moment. But it will be brilliant because it always is." Elsewhere, Jane revealed that Kim Tate is set to find out about Caleb Milligan "very soon".
Jane also teased that Caleb's son, Nicky, who has been pretending to work as a nanny at Home Farm and faking a romance with fiancée Gabby Thomas, still has another secret.
