Emma Willis on being 'present' with her husband Matt and three children this Christmas

The Voice UK presenter has spoken out about her plans this year as she wants to leave a week to the side and spend the time being "present" with the ones she loves.Emma was asked in a recent interview how she planned to spend Christmas this year and whether she and her family followed any traditions.She replied: "Just being together really.

We always spend Christmas as a family and get together on 23rd or Christmas Eve and then spend a good five days together."We eat, we sleep, we laugh, we play games, and we just really take time out to be with each other and be present."Emma was also asked if she was ready for Christmas this year, with the presenter admitting it was going to be a "mad scramble" this year.She continued: "Omg, I’m not ready at all but I'#m very excited!"I've slowly been trying to decorate the house and I know I need to do a little more shopping, but time is really ticking."I've also not done any wrapping so it’s probably going to be a bit of a mad scramble on Christmas Eve to get everything ready in time!"Matt and Emma have been very open in the past about how they parent their children and the different steps they take to make sure their children stay happy and safe.The former Busted guitarist spoke on a recent podcast about why he has banned his children from social media.Matt was asked how he deals with the topic of social media with his children and whether they were allowed it.He said on the Sweat, Snot & Tears podcast: "Well we've kind of just had to say no for a while because we watch The Social Dilemma and docs about it."I can't see much good from it for kids.
