Edinburgh households could be offered vouchers worth up to £30 in a bid to support local businesses. The proposals are set to be put forward to Edinburgh City Council later this week.
If the plans are given the green light, it will mean that every taxpaying household in the capital will receive a voucher to spend on businesses in the local area.Liberal Democrat councillor Kevin Lang believes the proposal will help support shops through the economic crisis brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.
