Sir Sean’s old Edinburgh neighbourhood of Fountainbridge today paid tribute to one of their own who became a legend.The area is barely recognisable from that which the movie star would have remembered with student flats and shopping malls rising between the traditional tenements.But pride in the suburb’s most famous son remains as strong as ever - with residents keen to celebrate his remarkable life.Connery sadly passed away at the age of 90 earlier today.Supervisor Ollie Pardish, 29, said: “I think obviously the initial reaction is to be sad but I think we should all come together to celebrate a true Scottish icon.
