Footage circulated on WhatsApp and leaked online showed Saunders appearing to condone domestic violence as he used a punchbag to advise men how to hit their female partners if they annoy them in coronavirus lockdown.
Saunders has since apologised for the video but it is the latest in a long line of incidents which have seen the WBO super-middleweight champion hit the headlines for the wrong reasons.
