The actor behind Phil Mitchell has been raking in acclaim following Thursday's (February 13) sensational episode where his portrayal reached new heights.

As his character has been battling loneliness and depression, viewers saw him experience a chill-inducing hallucination of past Mitchells, including portrayals of his mum, Peggy, by Jaime Winstone and dad, Eric, played by George Russo.
