The actor behind Phil Mitchell has been raking in acclaim following Thursday's (February 13) sensational episode where his portrayal reached new heights.
As his character has been battling loneliness and depression, viewers saw him experience a chill-inducing hallucination of past Mitchells, including portrayals of his mum, Peggy, by Jaime Winstone and dad, Eric, played by George Russo.
As the storyline deepened, viewers witnessed Phil confronting a younger version of himself portrayed by Daniel Delaney; however, it was a downward spiral as these family figures turned against him, leaving Phil exposed and more fractured than ever.
