EastEnders' Mick Carter introduces Charles and Camilla to Walford residents in Jubilee special

EastEnders' pub landlord Mick Carter welcomed Princes Charles and Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla to Albert Square in a special episode in honour of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Charles and Camilla are seen surprising the residents of Walford after Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) decides to throw a street party for the Square in celebration of the monarch’s 70 year reign – in scenes set to air on Thursday 2 June.

In scenes on the BBC soap, Walford's royal fans are left in disbelief when the Prince of Wales and future Queen Consort pull up in a car outside The Queen Vic pub, greeted by Mick and and huge royal fan Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).

Danny then greets the couple as he says: “Welcome to Walford.” In the episode, Charles is introduced to Walford resident Martin Fowler (James Bye).
