However, the EastEnders cast member brutally turned down his proposal, clearly thinking he was only doing it because she was expecting a child.
In a awkward moment, Jay brought up Lola's flirty chat with Peter earlier in the episode, shouting: "Why don't you run off and have his kids?" Lola hit back: "Well if you want a baby so bad, maybe I'm not the right person for you." In a savage twist, the episode ended with Lola and Peter kissing outside of Ruby Allen's flat, hinting they are about to sleep together.
