It was another devastating night for EastEnders fans on Wednesday as Lola Pearce was given just weeks left to live amid her worsening health.
Viewers at home were left distraught on Tuesday, when Lola collapsed and began to lose control of her speech and mobility, with medics revealing the following day that her recent palliative chemo had sadly not had the desired effect, with the brain tumour once again having spread.
Thanks to the growing tumour, it was now causing too much fluid and pressure on the young mum’s brain, which was the reason behind her worsening symptoms.
In a devastating moment, the doctor revealed Lola had just weeks left to live, not months, but rather than be defeated by the news in front of her relatives, she managed to paint on a smile while her daughter Lexi visited.
