ok.co.ukEastEnders fans have been left devastated and in tears after watching Lola Pearce's penultimate episode on Tuesday night ahead of her death tonight.
Lola was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour late last year, and now as she dips in and out of consciousness, her husband Jay was heartbreakingly told she did not have long left.
Jay was also told by Lola's nurse that now is when Lola's family and friends should come and say goodbye to the young mum. As those devastating goodbyes started to happen, Lola's grandad Billy Mitchell, who she also calls pops, sat at Lola's bedside as he told her how much he loved her.
Despite being asleep for most of the heartbreaking episode, Lola managed to wake up very briefly as Billy said goodbye to her.
