EastEnders fans desperate to see couple reunite ahead of Ben Mitchell exit

In the episode that aired on Tuesday 26 March, Ben was arrested for fraud that he committed in America.The officer who put Ben in cuffs said: "There’s an international warrant out for you.
I’m arresting you for fraud. Allegedly committed on your trip to the United States last year. You do not have to say anything but anything you do say may be given in evidence." Ben’s husband, Callum Highway (Tony Clay) - who is also a police officer - was horrified and, in the following episode out on Wednesday 27 March, refused to see him.
But fans are hoping the pair reunite before Ben ends up behind bars. On social media one viewer wrote: “they better give Ballum a goodbye #eastenders ”.
