EASTENDERS will bid an emotional farewell to the iconic Dot Branning later this year when residents of Albert Square find out she has passed away.
In a very special episode airing this winter, Dot’s family and friends will come together for her funeral to say goodbye to their beloved Dot.
Dot character was residing in Ireland, but as per her wishes, her funeral will be held in Walford, the place she always called home.
As one of the square's most adored character, Dot's family and friends will be giving her the send-off she really deserves. Dot was played by June Brown, OBE, MBE, who passed away earlier this year in April.
