West Lothian covid vaccine manufacturer Valneva announced it’s hammering out a deal with Scottish Ministers that will save jobs after the UK Government scrapped a billion pound order with the company.The firm announced that it is in advanced discussions, with Scottish Enterprise, for a multi-million pound grant which will enable it to fully complete its strategic manufacturing site in Livingston.Following the termination of the supply agreement with the UK Government (HMG) for Valneva’s inactivated Covid-19 vaccine candidate, it said it would pause plans to extend its workforce and current jobs were also under threat.Scottish Enterprise has since engaged in a highly constructive dialogue, and under the proposed grant, the Livingston site
