Eamonn Holmes has appeared to hint at how he feels after This Morning's National Television Awards win by hitting “like” on a string of tweets questioning why he and partner Ruth Langsford did not speak on stage.

Viewers of the show noticed that their favourite television couple weren’t given a moment to speak during the This Morning's team acceptance speech, as Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby took centre stage.

Eamonn and Ruth were let go as main presenters on the daytime TV show but had been hosting over the six weeks of summer in place of Holly and Phil.
