Eamonn Holmes' clan reportedly didn't 'warm up' to his now-estranged wife Ruth Langsford, according to rumours. The pair, both 64, shocked the showbiz world on Saturday, 25 May, when it was announced they were ending their 14-year marriage and heading for divorce.

Eamonn, who expressed his gratitude on GB News on Monday for the support following the announcement, was previously married to Gabrielle Holmes. They tied the knot in 1985 and had three children Declan, 35, Rebecca, 33, and Niall, 31 before their separation in 1996.

Despite having a good bond with Eamonn's kids, it is now claimed that some of the Belfast star's family members didn't "see eye to eye" with the Loose Women co-host, largely due to their loyalty towards Gabrielle.

An insider reportedly shared to the Mail: "Eamonn's Catholic family didn't really see eye-to-eye with Ruth, but he was totally bowled over by her," reports the Mirror.
