Eamonn Holmes details struggles with pain in health update 'Today has not been a good day'

This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes, 61, has addressed his battle with chronic back pain in a two-minute video he posted on Twitter.

Despite thinking he was finally making a recovery after weeks of agonising pain, the TV star revealed that he had put "three discs" out in his back, which had led to him lying on a sofa in an effort to recover.The husband of ITV host Ruth Langsford, 61, gave his one million Twitter followers an update on his health yesterday evening.Eamonn started the clip with him lying back on a sofa, filming the video with a selfie stick."Hi everybody, this is Eamonn here," he said.The This Morning presenter went on to reveal that he was trying out a new gadget that was "supposed" to keep him in vision, as he lay on a sofa.
