Presenter Eamonn Holmes returned to TV this morning for the first time since it was announced he and wife Ruth Langsford were parting ways.
However, despite their plans for a divorce after 14 years of marriage, the 64 year old was still wearing his wedding ring. During his appearance on GB News, Eamonn said the support shown by fans following the announcement had "meant so much" to himself and Ruth.

Your support for both of us is very much appreciated." On Saturday, a spokesperson for the couple told The Sun on Sunday they had called it quits. They said: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.” Ruth - who is yet to comment on the split - and Eamonn met in 1997 after being introduced by a mutual friend and went on to marry in Hampshire in 2010, now sharing a 21 year old son, Jack. The confirmation of their divorce followed on from rumours about the couple, who haven't been pictured together in months.
