Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress.
Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. Lime - which already provides e-scooters in 125 cities around the world - has been chosen to manage the scheme by local authority bosses.
The firm will initially launch 100 scooters, which have a top speed of 12mph, but this could expand to up to 500 if there is sufficient demand.
At first the trial will cover the town centre, before moving into areas such as Castleton and Milnrow - and potentially Heywood and Littleborough.
