With The Notorious winning the first clash in 2014, it has seen speculation grow of a deciding fight between them in the works.
And Poirier, who has expressed his desire to have a trilogy fight against McGregor, appears to have confirmed the date for the fight to take place.
Writing on his Twitter account, the 32-year-old simply wrote “July 10th” along with a diamond emoji in association with his nickname.
