They're joined by loanees Jack Walton and Ollie Denham and all five were named in the starting XI for their opening Viaplay Cup game away Spartans.
Speaking before the game Goodwin was asked for an update on the squad and the situations of Mulgrew and keeper Birighitti in particular, with neither named in the squad.
And he delivered an honest response. He said: "We've had conversations with both players during the summer period. Honest conversations and I have to say both players were very professional.
