Manchester United owners the Glazers faced more scrutiny of their running of the Reds on Friday but this time from an unfamiliar source.
David Beckham has made the switch to the boardroom since retiring from football and is the co-owner of MLS club Inter Miami.
He now believes the Glazers should leave United with the fans having clearly turned on them. Arguably, the supporters of the Reds have never looked favourably at the American family's ownership but Beckham is on the side of most United fans.
With the takeover conversation no closer to being resolved, we can probably expect more ex-players to make their feelings known about the Glazers as time passes.
